We are pleased to share that Chris Hunt has joined Kenno as Chief Investment Officer (CIO), effective October 14, 2026.
Chris brings more than 30 years of research and investment experience, including senior leadership roles across Asia. He previously led pan-regional equity research teams for Macquarie, CIMB, and HSBC, and has lived and worked in eight countries across the region. Most recently, he served as Head of Research for HSC Securities in Ho Chi Minh City.
Chris is based at our head office in Singapore and leads our investment team, including our analysts in Hanoi. His priority is to enhance our investment process and apply it consistently as the team expands.
Chris is the first of a few senior appointments that we have been working on and plan to share with you over the coming months, as part of our strategy to expand Kenno through new partnerships and products. As the firm grows, our focus stays where it has always been, on the long-term return on your capital.
As CIO, Chris will work closely with Dung Nguyen, who has stepped up from Senior Analyst to Co-Portfolio Manager of the Kenno Vietnam Fund, and with Tai Nguyen, who has joined us as Senior Analyst. The team now combines Chris’ experience building some of Asia’s largest research teams with our active company work on the ground in Vietnam.
